Who we are. "Bulldozer Studios", "we" and "us" mean Pratik Abichandani, an independent developer trading as Bulldozer Studios. Bulldozer Studios is not an incorporated company; Pratik Abichandani is the data controller. Contact: support@bulldozerstudios.com.

For parents: the short version

Outbreak Control Kids does not collect personal information from your child. There is no account, no chat, no analytics and no server of ours. Players get a generated name (like "Brave Otter 7") instead of typing their own. Everything is saved on the device.

1. On the device

Progress, the Haven, settings, energy and gem balances and personal bests are stored on the device only. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

2. Ads

The Kids edition shows only optional reward ads that the player chooses to watch. Ads are always non-personalised and requested as child-directed, through an ad network that participates in family and children's programs, so no advertising identifier is used to profile your child. There are no ads between missions.

3. The parental gate

Purchases, restoring purchases, links that leave the app, this privacy page and data deletion sit behind a parental gate: a question a grown-up answers before continuing.

4. Purchases

Purchases go through Apple or Google and their parental controls (Ask to Buy, purchase approvals). We never see payment details.

5. Engine data

Like most games, ours are built with the Unity engine. Unity may collect limited, non-identifying technical data about the device and engine performance (for example device model, OS version and crash signatures) under Unity's player privacy policy. We don't receive personal information from it.

6. Children's privacy laws

We design the Kids edition to meet the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR's rules for children, and Apple's and Google's requirements for apps aimed at children. Because we collect no personal information from children, there is nothing for us to share, sell or disclose. If you believe we have received information about your child, email support@bulldozerstudios.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To use these rights, email support@bulldozerstudios.com or use the data request form. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Our games and website are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date, and update the App Store and Google Play disclosures before the change takes effect.
