Save the city

Outbreak Control

Save the city. Control the infection. Decide who survives. Drag survivors between connected parts of a city, treat the infection before it turns a block into a nest, hold off hordes you can see coming, and evacuate enough people before the last convoy leaves.

How a mission works

One finger. One city. Three minutes.

Drag from a safe location along a road to send survivors. Police hold the line, doctors slow the infection, civilians are the people you're there to save. Every horde is telegraphed: you see where it's heading, how long until it hits, and whether that place HOLDS or FALLS.

01 · Send

Drag along roads. The SEND chip switches between 50%, 100% and 25% of a crowd.

02 · Contain

Infection builds inside a location. At 100% it collapses into zombies. Doctors, hospitals, pharmacy medicine and evac screening push it back.

03 · Evacuate

Get enough people to the evacuation point before the last convoy leaves.

Systems

Read the city. Then outplay it.

Six heroes

Firefighter Rafa, Engineer Inés, Scout Kit, K-9 handlers Bo & Juno, Commander Ama and Medic Nadia. Each has a passive bonus and a cooldown ability, and levels up to 10.

Tactics

Barricades (6 scrap), noise and sirens to pull a horde away (3 scrap), day and night, and modifiers like Blackout, Rain, Blocked Bridge and Supply Shortage.

Seven kinds of zombie

Walkers, runners, brutes, spitters, screamers, bloaters and riot zombies, plus bosses: the Butcher at Ferry Landing and the Colossus at the Clock Tower.

The Haven

Mission rewards build a settlement with 13 buildings, including a Medical Wing, Workshop, Watchtower, Armory, Research Lab, Radio Station and Walls, each improving your next run.

A rival crew

In Conquer missions an AI crew (easy, normal or hard) races you for the city. Take every place they hold to win.

Endless, and fair

Levels 11 to 1,000 come from a generator. Every level is checked: it has to be lost if you do nothing and beaten by a test player. A boss arrives every fifth level.

Two editions

Outbreak Control and Outbreak Control Kids

The same game, made twice. The standard edition is the town at dusk: ruins, fire barrels, and zombies that get burned and sniped. The Kids edition is the same town on a storybook afternoon, where zombies are hosed down and driven off.

  • Kids edition: only optional reward ads, never personalised. A parental gate (a grown-up question) protects purchases, restores, outside links, the privacy page and data deletion. Players get a generated name like "Brave Otter 7".
  • Standard edition: reward ads plus short ads between missions, with personalised ads only if you opt in.
  • Both: no account, no analytics, no data leaves the phone. Saves stay on the device.

Fair play

Free to play, and the rules are printed

Energy

A mission costs 4 energy. You bank up to 30 and get 1 back every 4 minutes. An optional reward ad gives +8, up to 5 times a day.

Ads

Reward ads are always your choice. The standard edition also shows short ads between missions; a one-time Remove Ads purchase turns those off.

Purchases

Gems, a Starter Pack, a one-time Haven Pass and a hero bundle, all through the App Store or Google Play. No loot boxes. Purchases aren't live in test builds.
