Outbreak Control privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026 · applies to Outbreak Control on iPhone, iPad and Android. The Kids edition has its own policy.

Who we are. "Bulldozer Studios", "we" and "us" mean Pratik Abichandani, an independent developer trading as Bulldozer Studios. Bulldozer Studios is not an incorporated company; Pratik Abichandani is the data controller. Contact: support@bulldozerstudios.com.

The short version: no account, no analytics and no server of ours. Your progress, Haven and personal-best leaderboards are saved on your device. Data leaves your device only when an ad is shown or you buy something through the app store.

1. On your device

The game saves progress, heroes, the Haven, settings, energy and gem balances, your chosen or generated player name and your personal bests on your device. Uninstalling the game deletes it all.

2. Advertising

The game shows optional reward ads and short ads between missions. Ads are served by an advertising partner such as Google AdMob, which may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address and approximate location derived from it, device information and ad interactions, to show, cap and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Personalised ads are off unless you opt in. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland the game asks for consent first; on iPhone it asks for tracking permission before any personalised ad; on Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your phone's settings. A Remove Ads purchase turns off the between-mission ads.

3. Purchases

Gems, packs and passes are bought through Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. The game receives only the confirmation needed to deliver what you bought.

4. Engine data

Like most games, ours are built with the Unity engine. Unity may collect limited, non-identifying technical data about the device and engine performance (for example device model, OS version and crash signatures) under Unity's player privacy policy. We don't receive personal information from it.

5. What we don't collect

Names, emails, contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera or analytics. The game does not create an account or send your progress anywhere.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To use these rights, email support@bulldozerstudios.com or use the data request form. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Our games and website are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date, and update the App Store and Google Play disclosures before the change takes effect.
